Real Bride: Maryam and Izzat's Nikkah Ceremony by Uzbin Photography

Good morning everyone, here's the continuation of yesterday's post, which featured the Mehndi of Maryam and Izzat, by Uzbin Phototography.  Today I'm pleased to share with you their Nikkah Ceremony, which took place at a golf course in the Montreal are.  I like that the bride is wearing a minty blue green shade with a cool red lengha.  My mom just came back from India, and many of the outfits she bought back for us were in some variation of this colour combination, with color combinations of red and pink with shades of blue, purple and turquoise in almost all the pieces.  She said those colours were everywhere in the shops, so it's a totally "in" colour. Real Bride: Maryam and Izzat's Mehndi by Uzbin Photography

One of the fun things about blogging is finding out how interconnected we all are, even when we aren't actually communicating directly with each other.  For example, some of you may know from previous posts, that I'm a big fan of tumblr blogs like Choli ke Peeche and Shaadi Fever.  They, it turns out, read my blog too!  Anyways, one time the girls at Shaadi Fever posted a pic from this mehndi, so I referenced the watermark (yay for watermarks!) to figure out who the photographer was.  Then I contacted the her, Uzma of Uzbin Photography, and asked her if she would mind me posting images from any of the weddings she has photographed.  It turns out she had read my blog and really liked it! Awesome.  Now I get to share some pictures of a very pretty bride in a very pretty outfit with some gorgeous beaded (my favourite kind) with you!  The simple pleasure of the internets.

I really love the marigold yellow shade of the kameez and the medallions of embroidery at the neckline, also, see the silver embroidery at the sleeves?  Such a pretty, sunshiney outfit. Also, I am REALLY digging that necklace.  I received a beaded necklace with a gold pendant as a wedding gift and it's hands down my favourite, so it's no wonder I like this one so much.
