So, when I found this in my Facebook feed this morning, I turned to my mom and told her the next time she's in India, she needs to stop at a newstand and pick up all the bridal magazines she can get a hold of. I only get Vogue India here, and I would like to see what else is out there, especially since from the scans on the internet and their presence on Facebook, they have a fairly good editorial style.
Asin was on hand to launch the latest issue of Bridal Mantra.in Singapore a few weeks back. When asked what her bridal mantra would be, she replied, "Traditional, classic, elegant and minimalist."
I am not normally a candy-colour liking girl, but these colours are really pretty on asin, and the cut of the bubblegum pink fish-tail lengha is incredibly flattering. I think I see brocade silk and gota kaam on the skirt, would love to see more shots of this outfit. I'll update this post with more details on the outfits as I come across them.
