Real Bride: Kismet and Nitin's Chandigarh Wedding by Carmen and Ingo Photography

Kismet Jewell Nakai is one of half of the dynamo photography duo, The Unreal Bride, her and best friend April  style and photograph brides, couples and weddings in creative, fashionable vignettes tailored to the individual style of the client.  They are pretty much known all over the bridal blogosphere for their out-of-the-box talents and I personally am a big fan of their work. You can see the features I did on them here, and here.

This past year, Kismet got married (congratulations dear!!!) and of course, when an industry insider dedicates their talents towards taking their vision of their own special day to reality, you can bet it's going to be worth a look.  The wedding was, as can be expected from the Unreal Bride Photography girls, casual but pretty, well styled and full of DIY.  With touches of vintage and shabby chic, and plenty of colours, this is a beautifully styled wedding, here's part one, photographed by the couple's friends at Carmen and Ingo Photography.  They are a Munich based duo who travel to take on photography assignments and often travel to India, a country they have fallen in love with for the food, people and culture.  The way they met Kismet is actually a pretty interesting story, and testament to how the internet makes the world small enough for a photographer in Germany can befriend someone in India, photograph her wedding, who in turn would befriend someone in Canada, who blog about it. Small world, Big things.

The first part of my post will be about the bride's first day at her new home, with a religious ceremony for the boy's side only, followed by Kismet joining them a little later.  Check out Carmen and Ingo's blog post read more about the day and see more pictures.  Be back a little later with more!
