Love-ly Locks: Twisted Updo by Jon Politano for Akira Australia

I have been obsessed with braids lately, OBSESSED, check my pinterest and you'll see what I mean. I keep pinning them, and it's my latest and greatest thing to do in my daughter's hair.  She is so sick of me...lol.  So, I found something slightly different, and I thought I would share, because it's a variation on a braid that I think would be quite pretty. The twisted updo by Jon Pulitano for the Australian brand Akira's latest fashion show.

In the picture, it's a slightly unkempt, asymmetrical take on the look, which is great for a casual affair, but for something classier, I imagine this look with slightly thicker rope braids, twisted into a snail-like coil, for a pretty and sophisticated updo.
