A couple of weeks ago I complained that Desi magazines have been really falling behind in terms of putting content online, where there is a clear demand for it. So I was pleasantly surprised to find that Suhaag Magazine has finally taken the leap and created an online webzine format to complement the magazine. When I logged on today, the main page article was on the Toronto Zoo elephhants, as the magazine is clearly including articles pulled from news feeds to pad out the site. So far, there are lots of articles and I like the format of this site way better than say, Asiana.tv. I'm glad that Suhaag opted to go this route instead of creating a digital edition of their magazine, which I find is difficult to read, and not that great, since the way we browse magazines doesn't translate as well on a screen. The main thing is, will they keep their site updated?
